The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is offered to students in Grades K through 2 and they meet once per week in small groups with a certified Catechist.

CGS is an international program of Christian formation that incorporates Montessori teaching methods. This program began in Rome in 1954 and is endorsed by Pope Francis and the Vatican. CGS introduces the most essential elements of scripture and liturgy in a specially prepared environment, the Atrium, where the children are able to explore and work with hands-on materials representing Christian messages, preparing them for the larger worshipping Catholic community. The goal of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is for children to gain a deeper knowledge and love of Jesus, the Good Shepherd.
